Need advice

Hello to all. Maybe my question will sound stupid, but I've done it before, so no offense. I've moved into a new renting house. It's a smaller one. The strange thing is that the power bill is higher. From what this could be?

It's not a strange question at all. I know what you mean because I paid for almost two years huge bills. It seems ok to me until I have found a website usave where I compared energy prices, My tariff was the highest in my area. But, the good thing was that I moved in the countryside, we have now solar panels. That's my pieceof advice for you. Switch to another supplier.

This is not a stupid question, and I also had a similar problem a few years ago. The only difference is that when I moved into a smaller house, that was the house I bought. I couldn't understand why the power bill is higher than I paid while I lived in a bigger house, but once I met an electrician and asked him this question. He said that this is because of the wiring and if I want to fix this issue, I will have to change the wiring totally. Also, he said that he knows a company that could help me and sent me this site https://bates-electric.com/locations/st-louis-mo/. I accessed it, contacted the company, and they helped me to fix all the issues by changing the wiring. Since then, the power bill is far lower than it was before.

Maybe this is some kind of debt from previous tenants?
