2014 Chevrolet Silverado Cheyenne Pricing

What do you think the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Cheyenne will be priced at?

My best guess is $40,000 - $50,000, final out the door price with dealer mark up it should be around $60,000 - $70,000

Do you really think it will cost quite that much? i would have priced it a bit lower. Maybe around $38,000. I don't think this truck is supposed to be quite that expensive.

vEight 12-11-2013 01:45 PM

Considering it basically is a "Corvette truck" 38,000 is just too low, ideal for us but not for GM

I guess so...

I hope it is much closer to the lower end of the $40k-$50k price range you cited though. What are the prices of comparable trucks like the F-150 and Ram 1500?

We still aren't sure if the Cheyenne is really going to be this hardcore high performance Silverado or if its a special trim with a slightly edgier design and maybe a bit more performance

So it really depends how much performance focus Chevy puts on the Silverado. Its such a trade off. Obviously I'd like it to be cheaper, but at the same time I want to have a performance truck. What a catch-22.

IMO i think it's best if they focus on making this a serious performance truck just like the concept. that way they can allow it to have the same effect as the ford raptor in a way.

is 6.2L not enough performance for you?

reg cab
short box
2 inch dip
6.2 8

Boom

$35K

burritotacosalsa 12-23-2013 06:30 AM

are they really going to put the 6.2 though?

why not? Its already a silverado option, just not available in reg cab short box. Its what the tremor is as well. EcoBoost was not available in short box reg cab...

although Tremor is selling for like $38K which is a little over priced in my book, Ford left the door wide open for Silvy to undercut...
