Chevrolet Silverado is the 2nd best selling vehicle of 2013 in the US

Its still a far cry away from taking over the top spot, but the Chevrolet Silverado had a great year in 2013. With 480,414 vehicles sold, the Chevrolet Silverado is the 2nd best selling vehicle of 2013. It comes behind the immensely popular Ford F-Series, which sold a crazy 793,402 units.

One thing that you may notice is that this list is exactly the same as 2012's. Only difference is that some of the vehicles have changed positions.

1. Ford F-Series - 793,402
2. Chevrolet Silverado - 480,414
3. Toyota Camry - 408,484
4. Honda Accord - 366,678
5. Ram Pickup Truck - 355,673
6. Honda Civic - 336,180
7. Nissan Altima - 320,373
8. Honda CR-V - 303,904
9. Toyota Corolla - 302,180
10. Ford Escape - 295,993.

They should do one for performance trucks just to see where they stand.

Well I looked it up and GM sold 184,389 GMC Sierras last year. SO that number plus the number of Silverados sold equals 664,803. That number is an awful lot closer to the number one spot, but still comes up short of the F-150's 2013 sales.

Great numbers. It's going to be hard to dethrone the F-150, it's the official truck of America, kind of like how the Mustang is the official coupe of america.

Don't think that info is readily available.

But you can see the number of Silverados sold in the months on goodcarbadcar.net

There is this though

2014 Silverado 1500 Named Fleet Truck of the Year
